Quota Options

You have the ability to set a capacity limit or a quota on your product as well as your product categories. There are many associated settings which you can control, including how, when, and whether the quota should display to your applicants. This is a great option if you want to raise the pressure of a product selling out.

To adjust these settings, first make sure you are on the Product Management page. To get there navigate to the Settings side menu. Then select Products to get to the Product Management page.

From here you’ll have various different settings you can turn on and off. We’ve provided an overview of each of them below.

  • Hide Sold Out Products – This will prevent your applicants from seeing products which have met their quota. Instead it will display them as sold out.
  • Trigger Additional Products on Wait-Listed Orders – Product B is triggered to show up or add when Product A is ordered. But if Product A has sold out and has the waitlist activated, should the applicant still get Product B when they get on the Product A waitlist? This feature lets you toggle this functionality on or off.
  • Hide Remaining Product Details – By default a product will display how many slots are remaining when an applicant is deciding whether to order it. Turning this “on” will ensure that they never see this quota number, while turning it off ensures that they will. If you would like, you can control at what percent of product ordered these numbers will show up. To set this, just enter your percent into the box next to Product Count Settings.
  • Product Count Settings – Similarly to individual products, you are able to set quotas on categories as well. By default a product will display how many slots are remaining when an applicant is deciding whether to order it. Turning this “on” will ensure that they never see this quota number, while turning it off ensures that they will. If you would like, you can control at what percent of product ordered these numbers will show up. To set this, just enter your percent into the box next to Product Count Settings.
  • Family System Quotas – In Family Systems, you have the ability for one head or sub unit’s payment towards a product with a quota to hold the spot for every single product which has a quota for each of your applicants. This applies both to partial and full payments (depending on how you have the quota set for your products).
