Project Settings – General Tab

Your Project Settings include essential details to finalize before launching your registration, like changing your project name, changing your soft descriptor, enabling Purchase Protection, embedding the iframe on your website, adding tabs of additional info for your attendees, and more.

If you have any questions about a checklist to review before clicking “Open for Registration and Login”, feel free to reach out to our Support Team (or your assigned Project Manager).

For now, we’ll review the General Tab.

To access the General Tab, click Settings and then Project Settings.

The general tab has a number of useful functions, which are broken into two categories: System and Marketing. We’ll dive into the details of each below:

System

system settings

System Status: You can set your system to be open, closed, or in development mode

  • Open – will present normally to your applicants
  • Closed – will allow you to create a “closed” message and present it to your applicants. No one will be able to register
  • Development mode – Deters applicants from registering, and is general active until your project is live

Project Name: Here you are able to change the name of your project.

Marketing

System email and System email name: You will be able to use this email as a “send from option” throughout the system, and can be used by other admins as well.

Google analytics code:

google analytics

Enter your Google Analytics ID.

In order to find your code by doing the following:

  • Sign into your analytics account.
  • Click Admin.
  • Select the account you want to link in the “Account” column.
  • Select a property from the menu in the “Property” column.
  • Click “Tracking Info” and “Tracking Code”.
  • Copy and paste in the field on the right. Make sure you enter ONLY the numbers that come after “UA”, and do not write “UA-” as it won’t sync correctly. For example, if your code is “UA – 12345678”, then you will enter “12345678”.

Regpack will push information into your account automatically as people move through your registration process.

You can read more about how this functionality works in this post.
