What is Regpack Purchase Protection?
Regpack’s Purchase Protection is an optional add-on you can purchase to protect your order for an event or program. Should a situation arise that prevents you from attending the event or program, you can file a claim and receive reimbursement.

Who qualifies for Regpack’s Purchase Protection?
Every applicant who registers using the Regpack service qualifies for Purchase Protection.

What does the reimbursement include?
The protection plan only covers the purchase price, and no other travel-related expenses, unless those fees are included in your purchase price.

When can I buy Purchase Protection?
Purchase Protection can be purchased upon checkout. The option to add the service will be presented and you can choose to add it to your cart. You must pay in full for Purchase Protection upon checkout.

Can Purchase Protection be canceled?
Purchase Protection cannot be canceled once purchased.

How do I file a claim?
You can file a claim by logging into your Regpack account and clicking the “File a Claim” link next to your purchase.

What is the cost of Purchase Protection?
The cost of Regpack Purchase Protection is a small percentage of your total eligible order. The system calculates this amount based on a unique algorithm that identifies risk factors of each individual applicant.

Before adding Purchase Protection to your cart, you will be able to view the price. If you add or remove products from your cart, the cost of the Purchase Protection will change to reflect your event or program choice.

Do I have to pay in full or can I pay in installments?
Payment for Purchase Protection is due in full once added to your cart. If you sign-up for a payment plan, the full cost of the purchase protection will be due on your first installment payment due date.

If I do not order Regpack Purchase Protection during my registration, can I come back and purchase at a later date?
Yes, you can add Purchase Protection to your cart anytime before the event or program date.

What will the transaction on my bank/credit card statement look like for Purchase Protection?
The Purchase Protection charge will appear as Purchase Protection on your bank statement.

When can I file a claim for Purchase Protection?
Qualified claims include illness or death of you, or an immediate family member.

Any claim submitted that meets these conditions must include a doctor’s note. Qualified claims include illness or death of the applicant or the applicant’s immediate family. Immediate family is defined as: husband, wife, partner, civil partner, parent, child, brother, or sister.

How long does it take for my claim to be processed?
Most claims for Purchase Protection are processed within 10 business days.

If my claim is rejected, can I get a refund on Purchase Protection?
If a claim is rejected because it does not meet the criteria of the Purchase Protection policy, the purchase price of the policy will not be refunded.
