Status Triggers

The trigger feature will allow your system to present content only to a certain set of users. This could be to show and/or add products to your user’s cart, present forms that should be completed, and send emails according to selections made by your users.

Once a trigger is set, the actions happen automatically and instantly customize the registration process.

Status triggers will be populated according to the status’s that you have created for your users.

The status can be used to keep your users organized as they move through the registration process.

Each user can be assigned a specific status which can be filtered and reported on. The status is also used to designate users as active or inactive, and both active and inactive statuses will appear on the list.

Go here for instructions on creating a status in your system.

One way to use status triggers is if you have an application and approval process. Perhaps you are hosting an art show and vendors need to apply to participate and pay a registration fee. Once applications have been submitted, admins go through the applications and determine which vendors get to participate in the show. When an admin applies the “approved” status to a user, products can be triggered to show to the user, forms can be automatically added to their account, and an email can be sent out. We’ve included instructions for all of these options below!

To trigger a product to show or be added to a user based on a status, go to settings –> products –> click trigger beside the product –> show product in user’s product list,  do not show product in user’s product list, add product to user’s cart and hide from users, or add product to user’s cart and show to others –> set trigger conditions –> status –> choose a status.
