Q: Be honest—how many browser tabs do you have open right now, and how many are Regpack dashboards?

Calvin: 51 tabs. Three of them are Regpack dashboards. Pretty standard, honestly. Lots to keep track of!

Q: If Operations had a theme song, what would it be?
Calvin: “Genie in a Bottle” by Christina Aguilera. It just popped into my head and made me laugh.

Q: What’s one Regpack feature you wish users appreciated more?
Calvin: Autobill — without question. It’s one of the most powerful tools we offer.

Q: If you had a magic wand to fix one client setup challenge, what would it be?
Calvin: Resistance to change. Switching systems is hard, but change usually means improvement — and that’s where Regpack shines.

Q: What keeps you up at night in Ops?
Calvin: Getting clients onto packages. They’re the best deal, but no one likes being “upsold” after they think the deal is done.

Q: Most unexpected use of Regpack you’ve seen?
Calvin: A client used Regpack to handle insurance applications and generate provider reports. Not typical, but it showed our flexibility.

Q: What does continuous improvement look like in Ops?
Calvin: Always asking, “Does this still make sense?” Small tweaks add up to big gains.

Q: What’s the most underrated Ops survival skill?
Calvin: Writing. Clear communication makes or breaks everything we do.

Q: If you could automate one part of your job, what would it be?
Calvin: End-of-month processes. That would free me up to focus on client engagement ideas.

Q: An operational change you’re proud of this year?
Calvin: The Project Blueprint redesign. It made onboarding and setup far more intuitive.

Q: Go-to snack on a busy day?
Calvin: Apple Warheads. They’re not as sour as they used to be — I think we’ve just gotten tougher.

Q: Biggest Ops myth you’d like to bust?
Calvin: That a phone call will solve everything faster. Often, details in writing get us to the root issue more quickly and let us loop in the right team members.

Q: If Regpack handed out merit badges, what would Ops earn daily?
Calvin: Emergency Preparedness. We’re great at diving into problems and solving them quickly.
