Calendar and Payment Updates in Regpack

Regpack Feature Updates: Scheduler & Security - Regpack

As you gear up for your next registration season, we at Regpack are hard at work ensuring that you have the tools you need to make your registration the best it’s ever been.

As I’m sure you know, Regpack continues to grow based on the comments, suggestions, and ideas Regpack clients bring to us. We have a lot of ideas, but ultimately we want to provide the tools most needed by YOU to allow your organization to run better and more efficiently.

A special thanks to MonoSol, a Kuraray Division, for working with us on our latest calendar feature!

Calendar Sync in Your Inbox!

I’m not sure about you, but I cannot function without my Google calendar. I’m sure you and I have this in common, as do your registrants.

For this reason, I’m excited to share that we now have an “Add to Calendar” link on scheduler tokens. The “Add to Calendar” link will appear in emails to your applicants where the scheduler token is present, as you can see in the GIF below. You simply click “Google”, “Outlook” or “Other” and the unit will add to that user’s calendar of choice. Simple, easy, and effective!

This feature will ensure your registrants never miss an event, course or program. The goal of this update is to further streamline the registration process and help keep everyone organized.

This feature is turned off by default. In order to enable it, log in to your admin account and go to Scheduler. Once there, click “Tools” and “General Settings”. Once enabled, the calendar links will appear in your emails when you use the scheduler token. You don’t have to do anything else but enable it!

Payment Emails from Your System, Not the Processor

This feature update has been requested by nearly all of our clients. The request was simple: send payment approval emails from Regpack, instead of the payment processor.

While the request was simple, the process to make it happen was not. We needed to do a lot of work with our payment processors in order to enable this. Just because it was a lot of work didn’t mean it was off the table, it just meant we had to work harder. And now, we have launched this feature system-wide!

From now on, ALL payment notifications will come from your Regpack system. You will be able to view these messages in the “View Communications” section for each individual user.

The payment approval email is based off thousands of payment emails that Regpack clients send to their users. We analyzed which email texts and information brought the best results, and crafted this email based on these statistics. We even turned this data into a blog post, How to Write a Payment Invoice Email, which is one of our most visited blog posts this year.

I’m excited that these updates will help to further streamline your process and make managing your registration and payments even easier.

If you have any feedback, suggestions, ideas, questions or just want to say hi, feel free to send an email to support@nightlyregpacks.com.
